The 1,100cc Blackbird is not just fast; it is an ultimate touring machine. Fully equipped with 52 litre top box which, can take 2 full face helmets, and a pair of 455 litre side panniers with inner bags so you don't have to remove the box when you get you where you are going. Each box has a lock for additional security, and there is a 32 litre tank bag which converts into a rucksack.
The high-lift wind shield and auto chain-oiler make the this bike ideal to take you any where in the UK or Europe. Lots of room for two, and totally comfortable on long rides for rider & pillion, as Kate (shown in the pic on the back) will attest after doing a few 500 mile trips.
The Blackbird has a 21 litre fuel tank giving a 150-180 mile range fully loaded. The inline four engine is smooth with lots of torque making for lazy gear changes; put it in top and leave it there all day. A supurb touring bike, ideal for long continental trips two-up.
